Fastflowers previous site was limited in product options and offered cumbersome administration tools. In 2003 they approached me requiring a new site that would allow flexible product management options and promotions coupled with advanced user friendly tools for administering the frequent sales and large customer database.

FASTFLOWERS

Fastflowers previous site was limited in product options and offered cumbersome administration tools. In 2003 they approached me requiring a new site that would allow flexible product management options and promotions coupled with advanced user friendly tools for administering the frequent sales and large customer database.

These tools included order management facilities such as sale alerts, expired sale warnings, export tools, advanced searching and reporting options. Affiliate programs and corporate accounts are also easily created and tracked by site administrators.

The site provides customers with a secure checkout (SSL) and all transactions are processed through a merchant gateway. Customer newsletter subscription and special occasion reminders are also available.

Fastflower's sister site, www.roses.com.au also processes sales through the Fastflowers database and administration system. In August 2007, Fastflowers asked me to develop another sister site - fasthampers.com.au which also operates through the same sales system.

Since initial development I have added an extensive amount of administration tools which include a customer support console, an email campaign tool, support console for FastFlowers TeleStaff and online gift voucher redemption.

In September 2005 Fastflowers went international. I designed and plugged in another sister site, www.fastflowers.co.nz which processes sales through the same administration area as Fastflowers.com.au & roses.com.au.

FastFlowers also released a series of commercials and asked me to develop a site for the media, these commercials were published at www.notexcuses.com (no longer available).

I continue to maintain Fastflowers on a permanent basis.
