ABOUT YOU (RADIO COMPETITION)

AboutYou.com.au is an online photo exhibition that was run as a competition across popular radio stations throughout Australia.

The site invites everyone in Australia to show the country how we live. Working like a jigsaw puzzle the site was put together peice by peice with images as they were submitted into categories like love, loath, smile, dream and on the funnier side of things, a look at your toothbrush, under your bed and in your fridge.
Member signup facilities were included so users could submit unlimited images and view their own library. Images were automatically sized upon submission from the entrants. Email a friend features, prize information, and winner announcements over a 4 week period were all part of the development cycle. The judges and administration team were also provided with a backend administration area used for publishing or rejecting submitted images.

The success of the competition was extremely high with thousands of entries received. A Christmas competition shortly followed the initial exhibition.
